We're Finally Rescued!!!!!!!!!!
One morning on the island, Carolina, Alice, and I all woke up to the honking of a loud horn. We saw a great big ship heading our way in the distance. Then we started coming up with ways to be rescued. Then we thought of swimming out to the ship but Carolina got tired so we swam back to the beach. Then we saw the ship getting closer and closer and we started to panic. Then all of a sudden I got the idea of starting a fire. Alice and I ran to go gather wood while Carolina caught her breath and watched for the ship. Then when we came back Carolina used her glasses and started a fire. Then the ship was even closer and we were jumping up and down hoping that they would see our signal. At this point, our fire was huge!!!!!!! The ship came up close to the island and all of a sudden stopped. Alice began to panic and said, "after all of that work the ship still didn't notice us. We're never going to get rescued!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Carolina went up to Alice and said, "yes we will be rescued, but we need to stay calm and not freak out." Then I saw movement around the ship. I said, "look the ship is sending another little boat over to rescue us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Then we all started dancing around and yelling, "we're over here." There was a lifeguard and some firefighters that came in the boat. They talked to us and asked us a couple questions. Then they checked to make sure that we we were not hurt and had no broken bones. Then they asked us, "Are you sure that there is nobody else on this island?" Then Carolina, Alice and I all said together, "We are positive that we are the only people on the island." Then they brought us to the ship and fed us and let us shower and get cleaned up.
Then we all started dancing around and yelling, "we're over here." There was a lifeguard and some firefighters that came in the boat. They talked to us and asked us a couple questions. I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT WE GOT RESCUED. i wanted to slap alice when she was freaking out. I hate when people freak out. at least the drama is all over and i know that we will be friends forever, i mean, after all that happened how could we not?! all i know is that we lived a true adventure and we will have memories that will least a lifetime.
