We're Finally Rescued!!!!!!!!!!

One morning on the island, Carolina, Alice, and I all woke up to the honking of a loud horn. We saw a great big ship heading our way in the distance. Then we started coming up with ways to be rescued. Then we thought of swimming out to the ship but Carolina got tired so we swam back to the beach. Then we saw the ship getting closer and closer and we started to panic. Then all of a sudden I got the idea of starting a fire. Alice and I ran to go gather wood while Carolina caught her breath and watched for the ship. Then when we came back Carolina used her glasses and started a fire. Then the ship was even closer and we were jumping up and down hoping that they would see our signal. At this point, our fire was huge!!!!!!! The ship came up close to the island and all of a sudden stopped. Alice began to panic and said, "after all of that work the ship still didn't notice us. We're never going to get rescued!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Carolina went up to Alice and said, "yes we will be rescued, but we need to stay calm and not freak out." Then I saw movement around the ship. I said, "look the ship is sending another little boat over to rescue us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Then we all started dancing around and yelling, "we're over here." There was a lifeguard and some firefighters that came in the boat. They talked to us and asked us a couple questions. Then they checked to make sure that we we were not hurt and had no broken bones. Then they asked us, "Are you sure that there is nobody else on this island?" Then Carolina, Alice and I all said together, "We are positive that we are the only people on the island." Then they brought us to the ship and fed us and let us shower and get cleaned up.

Log #4

I'm writing again, but this time I'm not as cheerful as before. Everything is falling apart!!!!!!! I don't know what to do anymore. Our group is not only one group anymore, another person on the island has split off and promised a lot of things to the little kids. I recently met this girl Carolina and another girl Alice. They are the only people I can trust anymore. It's weird now everyone changes at night. There has been a rumor that there is a beast on our island. Everyone is becoming terrified of the rumors about a beast. Everyone is starting to loose hope of being rescued. There have been many storms and it ruined our camp. We need to build another shelter soon or we might not survive. I'm trying my hardest to be strong for the groups sake, but I'm starting to lack leadership skills. I may not be a good leader anymore. I'm thinking of stepping down and letting someone else takeover. I will still be actively involved in helping everyone get rescued just I wont be calling the shots anymore. Don't tell anyone, but I'm scared!!!!!!!!! Scared of what might happen!!!! Scared of letting the group down!!!!!!!!!! Scared of not being rescued!!!!!!!! Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!! Please give me a sign!!!!!!!! Will you tell me what I should do??????????
