Log #1

I was on my way to have a wonderful vacation in paradise and all of a sudden the pilot said our plane was going to crash!!!!! I can't believe I survived the crash. There are no adults because the pilot died during the crash. There is only me and my classmates on this tropical island. I'll admit, this is a beautiful island, but I wish it didn't happen like this. We have no food, no water, and absolutely no extra clothes!!!!!!!! We are still working on building a shelter and a fire. Actually, the guys are working on them right now as I am writing to you. We are working on fishing too, but all we have is sticks to use as spears to stab the fish, but every time you get near them they swim away. We are starving and need to eat soon!!!! I've also heard some animals in the jungle so maybe we can eat them too. Luckily most of us on this island have gone camping before, so our survival is going good so far. The water is cool but not cold so it feels good most of the time, but it is only the ocean. The weather is very nice. It is warm but a little humid. We are surrounded and covered by trees so staying cool is not a problem right now. So, we have more time to work on other more important things. Well I better go look for some fruit in all of these trees so we don't starve. Ill write again soon.
